Come for the tea, not the menu. It's a simple tea-and-breakfast place under a plane tree on the water, sharing a small courtyard with İsmet Baba, and the view costs you the price of a glass.
Don't confuse it with the famous, centuries-old Çınaraltı up the shore in Çengelköy. That's a different tree and a different place, and editors mix them up.
